Our Rock the Block Tool Trailer provides affordable access to quality home improvement equipment to promote a culture of renovation in our town. This trailer is chock full of tools to reserve for a weekend to help with your home project needs.
Inventory includes a large selection of landscaping, carpentry, cement, and power tools. Even some scaffolding to help you safely renovate and paint those hard to reach spots.
The tool trailer is available for Council Bluffs homeowners only (no apartment dwellers, sorry) and must be reserved at least 3 days in advance.
The Rock the Block Tool Trailer was made possible through a partnership with First National Bank of Omaha and Habitat for Humanity of Council Bluffs.

Trailer Use & Deposit
For all individuals wanting to reserve the Rock the Block Tool Trailer for their project, a $50 deposit will be required.
If the tool trailer is returned with no damage inflicted on its contents, the $50 deposit will be returned to the individual that reserved the trailer. If the trailer is returned with any of its contents being broken or damaged, the $50 deposit will not be returned and the individual will be responsible for covering any additional costs to replace the item(s) broken or damaged.
This person will be required to have a valid driver’s license, liability insurance, and must be 21+ years of age. The 712 Initiative will need a copy of both the driver’s license and insurance card prior to trailer pickup.
Trailer Ball Size
A hitch and 2-5/16th inch ball is required to pull the ‘Block Party trailer. If your vehicle does has a hitch a 2-5/16th inch ball will be provided.
For any illness, injury, property damage, or loss suffered or sustained by me which is in any way associated with my participation in, travel to and from, or other activities associated with the Rock the Block Tool Trailer, I do hereby, for myself, my heirs, and my administrators and executors, forever waive, release and discharge any and all rights and claims for expenses, damages, or other losses which I may have or which may hereafter accrue, against The 712 Initiative, their sponsors, officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns.
Hold Harmless Agreement
User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The 712 Initiative and its employees, volunteers and sponsors from any and all liabilities and causes of action which may arise by virtue of use of the Rock the Block Tool Trailer.
