Old houses are a labor of love that can feel overwhelming at times. A common problem families face moving into an older home are windows that have either been painted shut or the weights and strings have been cut so they no longer operate properly. If you are like our neighborhood coordinator, you might have a trusty book or stick on the sill you use to keep them propped open. Let’s fix that!
In this workshop participants will get hands on experience by restringing an older window on site! You’ll get the benefit of learning a new skill, and also be helping one of The 712 Initiative’s housing projects at the same time.
Join us Saturday, May 8, from 9 am to 12:30 pm for a workshop all about restringing windows.
Taught by Steve of ???? on location at 702 Bluff St.
Space is limited. Only 20 registration spots open.
