The 712 Initiative and Oracle Art Supply announce a call for artists for the first annual Corn Fest 2020, to be held Saturday, August 1, 2020, 2 p.m.-8 p.m., Bayliss Park, 100 Pearl Street Council Bluffs, IA.
This one-day festival will celebrate Iowa’s staple crop and feature a performance stage, local arts and crafts, family activity zone, and delicious food from around the metro.
The festival committee is seeking a Council Bluffs based artist to design an image to be used to produce apparel sold at the 2020 event. Using the festival logo below as a reference point or source of inspiration, submit a design suitable for apparel screen printing to the committee by March 1, 2020. The winning artist will receive a $100 cash prize, $150 in store credit at Oracle Art Supply – Council Bluffs, and an optional free booth at the event from which they can sell their art.
This is a work-for-hire call. No additional licensing fees will be paid to the artist for use of the winning image beyond the prize identified above.
