Urban Revitalization Public Hearing

On May 12th the City of Council Bluffs is holding a public hearing for the Urban Revitalization Area around the 500 Block of West Broadway.

The approval of the 5th & West Broadway Urban Revitalization Area & Plan would support redevelopment in an area that is highly visible and is underutilized and mostly vacant.

Improving this area compliments some of our communities most important amenities: Bayliss Park, Hoff Family Arts and Culture Center, 100 Block, Haymarket District, YMCA, restaurants, employment, government center, and year-round events. Renovation of existing and construction of new space for housing and commercial will improve the vibrancy in our downtown.
