Celebrate CB is a great opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate. Don’t miss out on all the fun and excitement! This year’s theme is The CB Trail! Assume the role of a Council Bluffs native and embark on a historic migration route across Council Bluffs and see all that Council Bluffs has to offer!
Mark your calendars for May 6-12 because Celebrate CB is going to be a blast! The lineup of events keeps growing, so here’s a little taste of what you can look forward to.
All week long: Scavenger Hunt on the FIRST AVE Trail
Tuesday, May 7th from 4:00-6:00pm – Clean Sweep
Thursday, May 9th, Habitat for Humanity Council Bluffs is hosting a wall raising at Baldwin from 3:00-5:00pm.
Friday, May 10th is the Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Committee Cookout in Bayliss Park from 11:30am – 1:00pm.
Saturday, May 11th starts with The 712 Initiative & The Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce Pancakes in the Park before the parade. The Pancake Man will be cooking from 8:00-10:30am. The Celebrate CB Parade kicks off at 10:30am, followed by FREE Kids Activities, music, and food trucks in Bayliss Park from 11:30-2:00pm.
Lastly, don’t miss the City of Council Bluffs Mural Expo at Cochran Park on Saturday from 2:00-4:00pm. It’s going to be a week full of fun and community spirit, so come out and celebrate with us!
