- Pick Up at The 712 Initiative
The 712 Initiative has created a fun and FREE addition to the your summer festivities in Council Bluffs: The 712 Neighborhood Block Party Trailer. This portable party includes everything you need to provide an entertainment space for your neighborhood. Since it’s inaugural summer in 2018, the block party trailer has helped OVER 50 Council Bluffs neighborhoods and their residents get to know one another and have good time.
Trailer includes: 4 street barricades, 8 tables, 30+ chairs, 2 chest coolers, 2 water coolers, TONS of yard games, and more!
Free to neighborhoods ($50 refundable deposit), the Neighborhood Block Party Trailer will provide you and your neighbors with everything to get the party started! Remember, if you are closing the street, hosting at a public park, having loud music, etc… be sure to fill out a special event permit. There are no costs and helps emergency services know of any street closures or events. You can find that permit application here.
