Registration is now open for the Shamrock Shuffle. The unique Saint Patrick’s Day themed 5K fun run is happening Saturday, March 14, 2020.

Now in its seventh year, the Shamrock Shuffle has become a USATF certified 5K route. The run will begin at 10 a.m. with a street party on the 100 Block to follow.

“Becoming a certified 5K and being professionally timed gives the avid runner a competitive outlet without taking anything away from the fun everyone expects to have at the Shamrock Shuffle,” said Jeff Snow, Director of Programming and Events at The 712 Initiative.

Local band, the Polka Police, will return to entertain the crowd post-run. Along with a themed photo booth, face painting, outdoor beer garden and food and drink specials from participating locations on the 100 Block.

Participants are encouraged to dress as crazy as they dare in green attire to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day. Runners that beat the leprechaun to the finish line will earn a free beverage.

Join The 712 Initiative and TS Bank for this fun annual event. Those who sign up by January 31 will receive a free mug with their registration. Visit getmeregistered.com/TheShuffleCB to register.

The 2019 Shamrock Shuffle brought more than 450 participants out to the 100 Block. The 712 Initiative hopes to build off the momentum of last year for another great turn out.

Registration fee is $31.50 for adults, $21.50 for those 11-18 and $5 for 10 and under. Registration includes a t-shirt for those 11 and up.
